Covid-19 update

Posted on: Thursday, April 30th, 2020

The Arden Group is playing our part to keep essential businesses within the packaging sector operating during the Covid-19 pandemic.

A number of Arden customers across our Dies, Engraving and Software divisions are playing an essential role in the response to the Coronavirus outbreak, so it’s been vital we remain operational for those customers.

We quickly initiated a series of measures to ensure the business can continue to operate while keeping our workforce and customers safe, including remote and home working for a large number of staff.

Martin Poynter, Managing Director of the Arden Group, said: “The Arden Group plays a crucial role in the essential packaging sectors so it’s paramount that we work alongside our employees, customers and partners to help keep vital packaging supplies flowing.

“From pharmaceuticals to food production, many of our customers are playing a crucial role in the battle against Covid-19 and we’d like to reassure them that Arden is open for business and we’re here to support them.

“Our Software, Dies and Engraving divisions are an integral part of the packaging supply chain so it’s essential we remain operational for those customers who are providing a frontline service.

“The safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers remains our priority, and in line with Government guidance, those staff that can work from home are doing so, while continuing to provide the same high level of service that you’d expect from Arden.

“We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of innovation and we’re utilising the latest in remote access technology to ensure we can meet our customers’ needs from anywhere in the world.

“However, the nature of some of our work within our Dies and Engraving divisions means it’s not possible for the entire workforce to work remotely, so we have a core team on-site who are playing an essential role in keeping packaging production moving.

“We remain committed to keeping our employees and customers safe and our team on the shop floor have been equipped with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and all work is being carried out in line with the strict social distancing guidelines set by Government, and we are continuing to monitor and review the situation.

“We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all our employees, customers and partners for your ongoing support – by working together we can make a difference.”

The Arden Group has also signed the C19-Business Pledge – a global campaign which encourages businesses to join the Coronavirus relief effort by pledging to support their employees, customers and communities through the crisis.
